. . .[His lips tremble as he shuts his eyes, trying to hold back the tears. He thought he would be okay, but everytime Asougi talked to him like this, reminding him that he was worthwhile to someone, he ends up falling apart anyway. He nods, reaching up to put his hand over one of his.] So are you. [He puts on his best smile, eventhough there were tears falling down his face.]

Honestly, Naruhodou . . .

[ Despite his words, though, his tone is warm, fond. He wipes away a few of the tears with his thumbs, shaking his head slowly. ]

Stop making me cry then! [Even as he says that, he's laughing. At least he's not upset crying.] Only you would make me feel this way.

It's not hard.

[ He lifts his hand, using the whole thing to brush the tears from his cheek. ]

[ryuwrighthistory]

[He groans, grabbing a hold of that hand with both of his.] I'll get better! [He sniffles, proceeding to wipe the remaining tears himself.]

[ Though his tone is a bit teasing. He seems tired, but that's probably the sickness talking. ]

[There's a few more quiet sniffles, as he looks back up to him. Have long have they been talking? He reaches up to press his hand on his cheek. He's so warm.] . . . You should focus on getting better yourself.

I'll be fine . . .

[ He lets out a huff at that, though it's a weak protest at best. ]

[He scoffs, poking his cheek.] You're not convincing anyone with that.

[ ughhhHHH. He lays back with a sigh. Resting is the worst. ]

[He pulls up the covers, patting him on the chest.] The sooner you stop complaining, the sooner you'll be back on your feet.

[ grumble grumble. ]

[ryuwrighthistory]

[That gets a laugh from him.] Now you're just being childish.

[exchangeable]

Says the man who never gets sick.

[ He might be sulking now. ]

[ryuwrighthistory]

I take better care of myself. [Burn.] I've gotten sick once, but I was actually a kid back then.

[ He just groans in response. ]

[ryuwrighthistory]

[He nudges him.] Are you just going to be like this the whole time...?

Maybe.

[ Probably. ]

I can get out of this bed, then you won't have anyone to complain to. [Can he actually leave though?]

You're not wrong.

[ He definitely doesn't look like he wants him to leave, though. ]

I'll do it. [He's moving in bed at least.]

[ He quietly grabs for his wrist, fingers clinging to the fabric of his sleeve. ]

. . .[Dammit. He sighs deeply, slipping back over to his side.] I'm tired, and it's your fault.

[ He pulls his hand back, shaking his head. ]

No, it's fine. I'll go back to sleep shortly . . . you should go then.

[ryuwrighthistory]

. . .yea. [He hasn't forgotten what happened when Asougi fell asleep though. He squeezes his hand, rubbing it with his thumb.] At this rate, I may end up joining you anyway. [He really is tired. Dinner can probably wait.]
