[ He gives him a long look quietly and then reaches over to rest his free hand on the top of his head for a moment, sighing deeply. It's clear he's not actually annoyed or put out or anything though by the small smile forming on his face. ]

Alright, alright. I get it. We have a lot of lost time to make up for anyway, don't we?

. . .[He nods. The headpat is appreciated.] That's right. [He manages to return a smile. During this time, they'll reach their home.] Oh, could you get the door?

I can do that.

[ He lowers his hand, opening the door, and steps in to greet Wagahai. ] — yes, yes, we're back.

Thanks. Ah-hello, Wagahai. [His greeting was rather abrupt compare to Asougi's. As soon as he got inside, he immediately bolts for the kitchen to finally put down all these bags. Whew.]

Ugh, the marketplace needs to be closer. Hey Asougi, do you want some tea?

Mm, tea would be nice.

[ He follows Naruhodou into the kitchen, setting down the bag he'd been carrying next to all of Naruhodou's other bags. ]

All right. [He looks to the teapot in his hand and then to the mountain of bags.]

Here, just fill this with water and put it on the stove. I have to put the more temperature sensitive produce away.

Right.

[ He can make tea, okay. He fills the teapot with water and sets it down on the stovetop, glancing back over at Naruhodou. ] Did you need help with those?

I got it. [If by got it, he means playing tetris with the items in the fridge and cabinets, then yes, he got it.]

I see. [ He'll just lean back and watch Naruhodou go at it, then. ]

[How does anyone figure out where anything is in this kitchen is a mystery. Organization doesn't exist in here either, but an attempt was at least made. Spices would go into one cabinet and baking stuff is piled over on another shelf. Pretty sure the next time someone opens that cupboard, something's going to fall onto them.

Once finished, he'll leans against the counter, letting out some air. He rolls his head back.] We may have gotten more things, but that's even more stuff to put away.

That's why I'm saying, take a shopping list next time. You'll be prepared, both in terms of what we have to bring back and what we have to put away.

[ He crosses his arms and steps over, resting against the counter next to him. ]

[He frowns at that, leaning into his partner and mumbles quietly.] I'll think about it. [aka: That's effort.]

[ He shakes his head, chuckling softly. ]

I'll help you next time. We'll make it together. How about that?

[Oh. He lifts his head and looks to Asougi. That, actually sounds good. He nods.] Yea, we can do that.

[The pot will start whistling, forcing Naruhodou off the counter to take care of that. Meanwhile, Wagahai was meowing out in the living room area. She was pawing at the front door for some reason.]

Wagahai . . . ? [ He steps away from the counter as well, going into the living room to pay attention to her, geez. ]

[Wagahai looks way up at Asougi when he comes to check on her. She paws at the door again, like she wanted to go outside.

Naruhodou will be working on preparing their tea in the meantime.]

[ He kneels down, reaching over to scritch at her head lightly. What are pets besides small creatures that Naruhodou and Holmes take care of mostly. ]

[Oh, well the scritches are nice. She leans into it momentarily, but then backs off and meows at him. She proceeds to paw at the door again.]

Asougi? [Naruhodou comes out from the kitchen a moment later with two mugs full of tea in both hands.]

Hmm? [ He glances over his shoulder briefly before turning his attention back to Wagahai. ] She really wants to go outside, it seems.

[ And at that, he straightens up. Okay, okay, cat. ]

[The reason will become immediate when Asougi opens the door and she rushes out to pounce on PIGEONS. THERE IS ALSO SNOW ON THE GROUND AND THAT'S NOT AS FUN. Soon as she steps into that cold wet stuff, she flicks her paws to try and get it off. She turns to them both and makes a noise that sounded like a cross between a meow and whine. WHY DID YOU LET ME OUT?

That gets Naruhodou laughing a little] That didn't last very long. [He taps Asougi on the arm with his tea.]

Honestly . . .

[ He shakes his head, laughing a little, softly. At the tap, he turns to take the tea from Naruhodou, giving him a small smile. ] Thanks. ... So I'm a cat person, huh? [ He glances back at Wagahai at that. ]

[Wagahai comes back over and gives them both an indignant look before walking back inside. Naruhodou looks to Asougi and then nods firmly, grinning from ear to ear.]

Without a doubt. [He laughs, deciding to take a seat on the steps instead of heading back in right now. He just wants to be off his feet for a bit.]

[ He huffs! But he still sits down next to Naruhodou, tea in hand, giving him a good-natured smirk. ]

Some people would be offended by that, you know. [ Some people. ]

I suppose, but you live with one, so you're most definitely not one of them. [He leans into Asougi, nudging him teasingly.]

Ahh, you've caught me. I should have been more careful.

[ He's teasing right back though, just like how he's leaning into Naruhodou as well. ]
