Right. [He does as asked without much fuss. He's just ready to dig in.] I'll take the first bite then! [What is waiting? Food is best eaten when hot afterall, though maybe it's still too hot.] Mmf, it's hot! [He breath is visible in the cold air.]

[ He chuckles softly, shaking his head and nudging him lightly. ]

Of course it's hot. What did you expect? [ After a moment, he digs in as well. ]

No ish-- [He takes a moment to finish his mouthful and takes a breather.] Spicy. . .but it's also really tasty. [The struggle.]

It's "curry noodle soup." What did you expect?

[ But he's smiling a bit more at that. ]

A...little bit milder than this? [Spoilers: It is mild spicy.] What's with that look on your face?

This is nice. That's all.

[ It's a simple statement, but he seems content, which . . . has been a rarity for him since he arrived. ]

[He considers him for a moment before smiling.] Yea. . . [He turns back to the curry, taking another noodleful. Still spicy.] Mm, I'm glad we're sharing this. I wouldn't be able to finish a whole bowl.

No, I'm the same. I wouldn't be able to either, but I didn't want to miss out on this either. So it's perfect.

[ He seems totally fine with the spice level, eating calmly. ]

I'm glad you like it! You should definitely try the other noodle bowls next time if you come through the park again. [The area starts feeling warmer, probably from the soup or maybe part of it is from Naruhodou.]

Ahh if anything, the spiciness certainly helps with this cold weather.

[ There's a general warmness in Asougi's vicinity, though that's been happening a lot lately when the two of them are together like this. ]

I'll keep that in mind.

[He likes this. Were they not eating, he'd probably snuggle up with Asougi because it's warm and comfy right here.]

Mm, I don't know about you, but I could definitely use a drink after this.

I can't imagine why.

[ It's a dry response. He knows exactly why. ]

[He nudges him. How funny.]

Some warm tea and milk, or even amazake would go nice after this. But I don't think anyone really knows what the latter is here. I haven't seen anyone sell it at least.

I'm sure we can get something somewhere. If not here, then while we're shopping.

[ Amazake, huh. That would be nice — if anyone knew what it was. He'd have to poke around quietly about it later. ]

[He nods.] There is one place we could check out while were in the marketplace.

[They're just about finished with their noodle bowl. A lone piece of beef awaits to be eaten by someone at the bottom of the bowl.]

[ He scoops it up, though he dangles it above the bowl before actually eating it, glancing over at Naruhodou and raising his eyebrow. He has approximately five seconds to object before he eats it because Asougi is a very kind friend like that. ]

[Five seconds? He looks to the beef, then to Asougi. He smirks and then leans forward to swipe that beef off of him by taking a bite.]

Mm, thanks. [You're a great friend.]

You're not even going to split that with your partner?

[ He huffs! ]

Mmf? [Oh, he already ate the whole piece.] You had more than me. . .

It was still the last piece.

W-Well, you always get the last piece. [. . .] Most of the time.

We could have split it.

Uh. . .sorry? [What can you do now?]

[exchangeable]

[ He's pawning the tray off onto Naruhodou's lap entirely now. You took the last piece, you take care of this. ]

[He frowns at that and then sighs. It's only fair he suppose. He'll get up and return the tray without any complaints and then waits for Asougi to join him, hands in the pockets of his coat.]
