Well I...are you sure you can handle this right now? [Weren't you going to rest? Even Naruhodou needed like, a week to make sense of everything himself. He takes a deep breath, if Asougi wants it now, he'll do his best to explain it then.]
So, my client Abi-san, he has the ability to temporarily paralyze living beings just from glaring at them. He has the dragon's eyes or something like that. He went up to the spa that day to visit his brothers and found the wyverns already riled up by something, so he tried to calm them down. He ended up paralyzing them and himself, and this was where people claimed to have witnessed him doing the act. The wyverns were still fine at this point though, it was not until after the paralysis had worn off on Abi-san and he left that the culprit took advantage of the situation.
The paralysis on the wyverns hadn't fully worn off, so she used a power that exists here in this world. It's called Dunamis, a power to utilize your emotions as a tool. Even a normal person like me could learn Dunamis and basically gain magical powers. [He's starting to get into his storytelling now.] Anyway, she used the feelings of despair and attempted to suffocate the wyverns to death, making it look like it was my client's doing. She made a fatal mistake when she tried to frame Abi-san for the crime though. [There's that confident grin on his face. This was where he made his great turnabout.]
You see, there had been other pet related incidents prior to what happened with the wyverns, taken down in a similar method, and none of them matched Abi's MO. They looked like they had been paralyzed, but closer inspection of certain marks around the neck proves it was actually suffocation that killed them. We even had a dog who had been previously attacked, testify that Abi was nowhere nearby, he never picked up his scent at all. [He cross examined a dog, Asougi.] With that information, I was able to narrow it down to one person, the real culprit who had been present in each scenario.
